Pulse Data HumanWare, leader in innovative technology for people who are blind or visually impaired has announced the promotion of Rich Sundermier to the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager - Low Vision.
Rich joined Pulse Data HumanWare in December of 2003 as a low vision sales representative for New York State and quickly exhibited a commitment and excitement which resulted in increased sales within his territory. Rich realized early on that in order to grow his business within New York he would need to develop a network of independent dealers and proceeded to successfully recruit more than 10 dealers throughout New York within the past year.
Pulse Data HumanWare's reputation for introducing innovative products is widely known throughout the low vision and blindness community. One such product is the newly designed hand held color video magnifier called the PocketViewer. In addition, Pulse Data HumanWare recently introduced myReader(TM), the world's first ever low vision auto-reader. Rich states, "For over thirty years, people with low vision have been using video magnifiers to read as best they could, but now, with myReader, they actually have technology designed specifically for large print reading. It is a monumental breakthrough that clearly separates Pulse Data HumanWare from the rest of the industry." Rich added, "It is our innovation and commitment to designing the best products on the market today that makes this new position so exciting for me."
Jim Halliday, President Emeritus at Pulse Data HumanWare says, "We are impressed and inspired by Rich's enthusiasm for his job, his customers and the technology that HumanWare produces. His track record has quickly qualified him for this promotion and we are delighted that he has accepted this new responsibility."
