We are looking for an experienced Account Manager or Field Sales Manager with a successful record of sales achievement to develop, coach, and motivate the field sales team and distributors across the ANZ region and to develop and execute growth strategies across all product groups with key accounts in the NSW / ACT region.

The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned budgeted sales goals across all product groups in Australia and New Zealand by supporting the separate territory businesses of the Regional Account Managers & Distributors. The role will contribute to the annual budgeting process for ANZ by developing product revenue targets and operational cost evaluations and for managing and controlling costs across ANZ and within accounts on their own territory to ensure attainment of profitability goals.

The successful candidate will be skilled in developing business plans to ensure achievement of expected reach and frequency call targets on key accounts and contacts across all territories and provide accurate weekly sales forecasts based on individual and team opportunities to the General Manager (Australasia).

The role is responsible for maintaining and developing within the Sales Team best-in-class product knowledge of all HumanWare & competitor Low Vision & Blindness products through regular training, coaching and assessment. It is important to ensure there is a thorough knowledge and constant presence of HumanWare product solutions and marketing support within their key accounts.



The successful candidate must be able to build, maintain and manage an accurate sales pipeline and forecast across all territories, leading to attainment of budget and medium-term visibility of major sales opportunities. The candidate will be business oriented, driven by results and enjoy inspiring, motivating and leading a team of direct sales personnel.

Critically the successful candidate will be able to recruit and manage relationships and agreements with sales distributors and have the ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels. The role requires strong negotiation and interpersonal skills along with the ability to build credibility quickly with any audience. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management and organisation skills; excellent presentation skills and be a skilled communicator. The role requires someone who can work flexibly and be able to travel 40% of the time.

We are looking for a degree qualified individual with 3 years of prior experience in healthcare, educational, technology, business or a related medical field. Demonstrated sales success and product expertise in vision / technology / health related fields and previous experience with Business Management and planning and utilization of customer relationship management systems (CRM) are required. Knowledge of educational and federal agencies and the purchasing process is required as is competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and having a good knowledge of adaptive technology products for blind and visually impaired and knowledge of SugarCRM would be an asset.
