"I was blinded forty years ago in a war-time explosion. The Veterans Administration has trained me to be a good blind person and has given me many gadgets and accessories to play with to make me more independent. Some of those gadgets have been useful and some not. For several weeks now I have been using the Trekker Breeze. I want to tell you just how cool this thing is. I have used other GPS devices for the blind, but none of them are as good and as easy to use as Mr. Breeze. And now with Trekker 2.0, getting around in my area or any area has become even easier. The ability to enter an address and hit the streets with Mr. Breeze in my pocket gives me more freedom than I have known in a very long time. I want to say BIG THANKS to everyone involved with HumanWare. I also use my Victor Reader a lot. Thanks again.

Greatfully yours,"

"The new update to the Trekker Breeze improved the amount of information that was automatically generated in the motorized capability of the Breeze. We went home from the state convention in a vehicle and traveled on the freeway.  The Breeze had no problem in recognizing the freeways and the surface streets/exits on the freeway.  It was a joy to hear the streets as we passed them.  Even in traveling on the bus since then, I have enjoyed hearing the street names announced... The Breeze is great, and it really enhances my travel in familiar and unfamiliar areas."

"I just wanted to give you the update that this afternoon was the first time that our English speaking students had the opportunity to work with a Breeze unit. Harold & I took them for a two block walk and explained the device.  Everyone was very enthusiastic.  At the end of all the walks we asked for questions, there were none, however everyone stood up and cheered they are so excited about this new adventure.  Congratulations on the success of the Breeze!"

"When I am pleased with anything I purchase I always like to tell the world about it. In the case of the Breeze, it is the end of a long search to find a user friendly GPS for the blind. I have looked into all sorts of possibilities, and also probabilities not yet possible, especially in relation to using mainstream products such as mobile phone with GPS software and Talks, but this option was expensive and still left wanting. You were still getting a device which has multiple uses, which can only complicate its use. It could be that this mainstream technology could be useful and affordable in the not too distant future, but it is not here yet, whereas the Breeze is and working very well. As I said, I would have been forthcoming in my praise even if I had purchased the Breeze, but having been lucky enough to win it, I am very keen to rave on about how good I have found it so that you can get something back from your generous offer. I have been using it around my home area all the time, even to visit a friend a few hundred yards away just so I get more familiar with all of the keys and functions. I believe I am now fully conversant with the Breeze. I can also say that I have had GPS coverage almost every time I have used the Breeze, and the only time I have not, when I did connect I was told I had a low GPS signal, so any failure to connect was the lack of satellites and not the fault of the Breeze. Good to hear from you again and thanks again for putting up a Breeze which I was lucky enough to win."
