Whats new in Maps 3.1

1. Updated data from Navteq including :

• Increased number of Points of interest per category.
• New categories: department store, convenience store, sporting goods store, consumer electronics, home improvement, and cemetery.
• Updated street information and corrections.

Please note that updates, new P.O.Is and categories vary depending on each country or region.

2. P.O.I positioning and announcement are improved:

• P.O.I.s have one more digit. This improves their estimated positioning.
• Chain P.O.I.s such as Mc Donald's, are not announced in double anymore.

3. Street information is enhanced

• More streets or ramps with "no name" are now announced by their name.
• Streets keep the same name even in segments like a bridge, a main downtown area or a restricted zone.

Map Upgrading policy

• In order to request maps, customers must fill out the form found from the link below. Please have your product serial number and PDA model on hand.
• Upon filling out the form, Humanware will provide a password protected link to download the new map. A high speed connection is recommended.
• Only 1 free Map per client (country where the client resides) will be offered.
• Offer ends July 31, 2008.
