As time progresses, street names, new developments, and points of interest change in your environment and this totally free update to the Breeze maps ensures that you have the most accurate information available to you as you travel. In addition to announcing these updated maps, HumanWare is excited to announce that the Trekker Breeze system can now be purchased for $699 including the entire country maps.

What you need to know:

• To update your maps simply log into license.humanware.com with your Breeze serial number and email address and select the Canada maps as your chosen country.
• New maps contain updated street names and layouts, new and updated points of interest, along with new supported points of interest categories.
• With the purchase of a new Breeze, customers will receive the entire Canada maps included free with their purchase. Current Breeze owners, who would prefer to have the Canada maps on a DVD rather than downloading them, can contact the HumanWare customer service department to purchase a DVD.
• To obtain your new Breeze maps, simply log into http://license.humanware.com with your Breeze serial number and email address and select your chosen map region. You will receive an email with a download location and instructions for how to download and transfer your maps to your Breeze.

The Trekker Breeze is built specifically for a traveler who is visually impaired, providing users extra information and new features such as:

• Create a pedestrian or vehicle route by entering exact street addresses
• The street name you are walking on and distance to the next intersection
• Type of upcoming intersection (3, 4 or 5 way intersection)
• Cardinal direction being traveled
• Nearest address being passed

Gone are the days of memorizing keystrokes for each of these functions. When using the Breeze, you can receive all this information with the press of one button. And if you need to travel to a specific address, by using the Breeze’s easy to understand keypad, consisting of only nine buttons, enter the address of your destination, and Breeze will give you pedestrian specific instructions to safely guide you to your chosen address.
